The IWC-1424B crimping tool is designed to support the assembly of Metri-Pack 150 & 280 series and Weather Pack connectors. It efficiently crimps both terminals and seals specific to these connector types.
Stamped Terminal Crimping Tool:
Engineered to handle a range of open barrel contacts—including small-gauge D-subminiature terminals—this tool features separate cavities for crimping the conductor and insulation portions.
Two-Step Crimping Function:
This tool performs crimping in two stages, independently securing the wire core and insulation wings. Each crimp requires two closures to complete. It includes three wire crimping positions and two for seal crimping, with a slim profile ideal for tight spaces.
