4PCS - High-Pressure Fuel Line Pipe Male Connector for Td5 Fuel Tanks
The Td5 fuel tank sender unit features four connections:
Three low-pressure lines
One high-pressure line
High-Pressure Line Details:
Identified by a GREEN color code on top of the fuel sender unit.
Runs directly from the fuel tank to the pressure regulator on the engine.
Low-Pressure Line Functions:
Tank to fuel filter – Delivers fuel to the filter.
Filtered fuel return – Sends fuel back to the sender unit.
Unused fuel return – Recirculates excess fuel from the engine via the filter head.
Connector & Installation Details:
Designed to fit 8mm internal diameter fuel pipes.
A high-quality hose clamp is essential to secure the connection, as the high-pressure line operates at approximately 7.5 bar, unlike the low-pressure lines.
Required Pipe Connections:
Fuel tank sender unit: 4 male connectors
Engine pressure regulator & return: 2 female connectors
Fuel filter head: 4 female connectors
Total: 6 female and 4 male connectors.
